Dr. Frances Solomon


Dr. Frances Solomon has more than 25 years of professional experience in state and local environmental agencies, focusing on the biological impacts of toxic water pollutants, pollution prevention and control, and protection and restoration of salmon habitat. She is passionate about

She teaches short courses and gives lectures for environmental professionals, health care professionals, university students, and the general public in Washington State, Alaska, Canada, and Japan on impacts of toxic chemicals on aquatic ecosystems and human health, and on water quality and aquatic resources. She is on the faculty at Western Washington University, Huxley College of the Environment on the Peninsulas, and will also teach at The Evergreen State College, Tacoma campus during the 2011-2012 academic year.
