About Environmental Teaching International

Metals and organic chemicals have many important uses in everyday products in our homes, offices, and gardens, but many of these chemicals also have toxic effects from the molecular to the organism to the ecosystem level. Toxic chemicals and other pollutants contaminate our oceans, estuaries, rivers, streams, and lakes as well as our air, soil, and food, and do not stop at national borders. Degraded water quality contributes to degraded habitat for salmon and other important aquatic species. A course or seminar from Environmental Teaching International may include:
